MATCHDAY GUIDE: CITY v SALFORD

21 December 2019

City are set to return to Sky Bet League Two action, this afternoon, hosting Salford City in our final game before Christmas (3.00pm).

We have compiled a handy Matchday Guide - packed full of helpful information ahead of the fixture.

Firstly, we would like to extend a warm welcome to this afternoon's Big Match Sponsor, VLT Logistics, and Man of the Match Sponsor, Shipley Bantams!

PYROTECHNICS & BEHAVIOUR

The club would like to remind supporters the possession or use of pyrotechnics inside a football ground is strictly prohibited.

Those found to be carrying or using pyrotechnics will face a long-term ban.

We would like to remind supporters it is a criminal offence to enter the pitch at any time.

Anyone who does so without permission can expect to face prosecution.

SPARKLE FOR AXL

Supporters are today encouraged to light torches when the players enter the field - helping the Utilita Energy Stadium 'Sparkle for Axl'.

Lucas Walker - whose brother Axl died from a rare blood disorder last year - will be a mascot for the game and will hopefully walk out to see the ground lit up.

Bucket collectors on behalf of the charity can be found in around the Utilita Energy Stadium, today, and supporters are asked to help out, in whichever way possible.
