Brad Halliday spoke of his pride, having made his 100th appearance in claret and amber against Gillingham yesterday.

Halliday hit a century for the Bantams while also netting the only goal against the Gills to seal three points for City.

Halliday spoke on what it means to be a Bradford City player on a personal note, and how proud he is to have his 100 appearances in less than two seasons.

He said: “It is a very proud moment for myself.

“One hundred appearances in two seasons is really good going.

“I want to play every game and play every minute.

“The more I can do that, the happier I will be.

“These last few games, we need to put in great performances and pick up as many good results as possible.”

Addressing his winning goal on his century of appearances, Halliday relayed the deciding moment.

He added: “I cut in on my left and I saw the space open up for me and I thought 'just have a shot'.

“In that moment, I thought it was either going to be a goal or it's going into row z.

“I am obviously delighted it went in and happy it won the game for us.”
