The Bantams came from behind to beat Salford City 2-1 at the Peninsula Stadium.
It was Salford who claimed an early lead through Callum Hendry after just 18 minutes, but Calum Kavanagh pulled City level on the stroke of half-time.
Brad Halliday left it late to grab his second goal in as many games with four minutes of normal time remaining, with the Bantams leaving with all three points.
City started bright, and had their first chance as Tyreik Wright made a darting run down the line and delivered a low cross into the box. Kavanagh managed to get a foot on it at the front post but his effort was well saved by Alex Cairns.
Despite Graham Alexander's men looking dangerous in the attacking phase, it was Salford who would take the lead in the 18th minute through Hendry. He was found inside the area and was able to rifle his effort past Sam Walker to put the hosts ahead.
City looked for a response and had another good chance just before the half hour minute. Andy Cook was found well in the area but his shot was blocked.
As the game approached the halfway stage, Jamie Walker delivered a low ball to the back post but Cook could not direct his effort on target.
However, in stoppage time, as it looked as though the Bantams would be going in at the break behind, they levelled the scoring.
Richie Smallwood's free-kick was headed back across goal by Matty Platt, and Kavanagh was on hand to finish past Alex Cairns.
City started the second 45 the stronger, looking to take the lead for the first time in the afternoon.
A goalmouth scramble and follow-up block off the line kept the score level from Bobby Pointon and Kavanagh respectively. Cook tried to follow it up but dragged his effort wide.
As the time ticked away, City were the team pushing for the winner. Kavanagh saw a shot saved well in the 75th minute by Cairns.
Alexander's men kept pushing and eventually found their winner in the 86th minute through Brad Halliday. Substitute Clarke Oduor saw his effort blocked and the ball fell to Halliday, who thundered an effort into the far corner.
Salford looked to pull level again in what was left of the encounter, but City stood firm to see out the three points.
