TICKETS

A limited number of tickets will be available to purchase from Holker Street on matchday, for those who have been unable to secure a ticket.

The original fixture had seen Bantams supporters sell out the away end, though the club has received a number of returns as a result of supporters being unable to make the rearranged clash.

ABOUT THE GROUND

Prior to the ground’s build, Holker Street was used as a rubbish tip by Furness Railway.

Barrow AFC moved to the stadium in 1909, initially renting the site from Furness Railway, and played out their first game in the Lancashire Combination League, beating Eccles Borough 5-2.

By 1921 - when Barrow were elected into the English Third Division - the stadium had been developed into a terraced ground with an all-seater stand.

Holker Street underwent redevelopment in the 1990s which remains to this day. The ground contains a seated stand with three terraces.

CAR PARKING

Liberata, situated a few minutes' walk from Holker Street on Phoenix Road, offers free matchday parking on a first-come, first-served basis.

Otherwise, street parking is available in the ground's vicinity, but supporters are reminded to check for any potential restrictions via roadside signs.

ENTERTAINMENT AND REFRESHMENTS

There is a brand-new catering outlet inside the ground in the Holker Street End which serves a selection of hot and cold food from an hour before kick-off until just after half-time, as well as hot and cold drinks.

This outlet is also fully-licensed to serve alcoholic drinks to away supporters so feel free to get into the ground early and enjoy a pre-match pint of Carling, Madri or Carling Dark Fruits on draught.

Visiting supporters are also welcome to use The Cross Bar which is close to Main Reception on Wilkie Road and serves a wide range of pre-match drinks.

There is a Wetherspoons in the town centre named ‘The Furness Railway’ for a pre-match meal in familiar surroundings.

On the A590 there is a retail park which houses several eateries, including McDonald's and KFC, as well as a Tesco Extra.

PYROTECHNICS AND BEHAVIOUR

The club would like to remind supporters the possession or use of pyrotechnics inside a football ground is strictly prohibited. Those found to be carrying or using pyrotechnics will face a long-term ban.

We would like to remind supporters it is a criminal offence to enter the pitch at any time. Anyone who does so without permission can expect to face prosecution.

The club outlined its stance on pyrotechnics last season, following incident during our home match against Newport County, and away match at Crewe Alexandra. These statements can be read HERE and HERE

The club reiterated this stance this season on pyrotechnics and crowd disorder after incidents at December's away game against Doncaster Rovers. CLICK HERE to read the statement.

The club would also like to take the opportunity to remind supporters of the zero-tolerance approach towards missile throwing, after an incident in City's home match against Harrogate Town in the Emirates FA Cup last season.

Bradford City AFC would like to remind supporters that the strongest condemnation is employed towards discriminatory abuse, tragedy chanting, anti-social behaviour, crowd disorder and misconduct, and illegal activity inside football stadia.

Our stance on the above will ensure the strongest-possible action continues to be taken against those found guilty of any offence, including the issuing of Football Banning Orders.

The club reiterated its stance on this following an incident at our recent Bristol Street Motors Trophy game against Manchester City Under-21s. CLICK HERE to read the statement. This stance was further reiterated following a recent league game at home to AFC Wimbledon. CLICK HERE to read the full statement.

This follows the implementation of the 'Love Football, Protect the Game' initiative reinforced last season, by the EFL, FA and Premier League. For full details, please CLICK HERE.

City supporters can expect rain in Cumbria, with highs of 10°C forecast.
