ALEXANDER PLEASED WITH COMEBACK WIN

Graham Alexander was pleased with a victory he felt his side deserved at Salford City this afternoon.

City secured a 2-1 victory over the Ammies in Sky Bet League Two, as they made it four games without defeat.

Alexander was proud of the way his side reacted to going a goal down, and insists this is something he wants the Bantams to continue to "add to their armoury".

“Today was thoroughly deserved, I thought we were the better team out there,” he said.

“We conceded a sloppy goal. They have some goal threats, but I thought for the most part we dealt with them.

“But what pleased me the most was we were able to come back from a goal down, which is not something we have done a lot this season.

“This is something we need to add to our armoury.

“Whatever comes against you, you have to be ready for, and I thought we did that well today.”

It was another sold-out away end filled with over 1,300 Bantams, and the City boss praised the support his side received.

“Our fans were brilliant,” he added.

“They could see the team was playing well and, even when we went a goal down, they were supporting the lads.

“We have had brilliant support in the last few weeks.

“We have to keep rewarding them with performances like today.”
