Graham Alexander admitted there was a lack of quality on show from his side, following this afternoon's 1-1 draw at Grimsby Town.
The Bantams battled to earn a point in the last minute, thanks to Richie Smallwood's stoppage-time penalty.
The City boss bemoaned a lack of quality from both teams, as the spoils were shared at Blundell Park.
“It was not a great game, there was no quality from either team,” he said.
“The game was broken up by the amount of free-kicks that were given. I thought I was playing in Spain today with the number of breaks.
“Their goal was from a corner. It took a massive deflection with their only shot on target.
“But I do not think we created enough as an attacking team.
“When we brought some fresh legs on, it changed and we created a few good chances.
“We should have had another penalty - a blatant handball right in front of the referee.
“It was a game we could have won, but we did not do enough to say we should have won.”
Alexander thanked the travelling City supporters for their backing on Easter Monday, and was pleased his side could give them a goal to cheer in the away end.
“Grimsby are fighting for their lives, and wanted to grind out a result,” he added.
“We had to work exceptionally hard to get something from the game.
“We definitely deserved something from the game. I am glad we did this in front of our fans.
“They were magnificent all the way through the game, and they showed their support for the players.
“But, after the previous four games, I will take four points from these two games.”
