AWAY DAY GUIDE: DONCASTER v CITY

25 February 2023

Mark Hughes’ Bantams travel to Doncaster Rovers this afternoon, with a sold-out allocation of 4,000 City supporters set to make the trip.

For those of you making the short journey to South Yorkshire, we have created a handy Away Day Guide to provide you with all the information you need.

STADIUM ADDRESS

Eco-Power Stadium

Stadium Way

Doncaster

DN4 5JW

ABOUT THE GROUND

After 84 years of playing at their old Belle Vue ground, Doncaster moved to the now Eco-Power Stadium in 2007.

The ground is totally enclosed by four covered stands, with the stands behind the goals being identical in size and design.

City supporters will be located in the North Stand this afternoon.

TICKETS

Tickets for this afternoon are completely SOLD OUT - with 4,000 City supporters making the trip to Doncaster.

Any supporters who have secured their tickets online and have not been able to collect them from the University of Bradford Stadium, will be able to do so from the Club Doncaster Academy reception next to the away turnstiles from 1.00pm today.

Read full details HERE.

CAR PARKING

Regular parking at the stadium has been available to book in advance of the game, though us now SOLD OUT.

Popular amongst away fans is the Potteric Carr Industrial Estate, which is a five-minute walk from the stadium and priced at £4.

ENTERTAINMENT AND REFRESHMENTS

To eat:

Supporters are advised that the Belle Vue Bar on site at the stadium is only open to home supporters today. However, away turnstiles will open at the earlier time of 1.00pm, to enable City fans to head inside and purchase refreshments from concourse kiosks.

A Beefeater restaurant is also located near Stadium Way, which you should see as you drive towards the ground.

To drink:

There is not much in the way of pubs, as the Eco-Power Stadium is situated on the outskirts of Doncaster’s city centre, so the aforementioned Beefeater and in-stadium facilities are the closest places for refreshments.

Doncaster’s town centre is a 30-minute walk from the ground where there are many popular pub chains such as Wetherspoons and Yates'.

If you are arriving by train into Doncaster Railway Station, there is the Draughtsman Alehouse on Platform 3B, which is 10 minutes from the ground. The Railway pub on West Street, near to the station, is also popular amongst visiting supporters.

GETTING THERE

By car:

From the A1, join the M18 Eastbound at Junction 35, or from the M1, join the M18 Eastbound at Junction 32.

By train:

Doncaster Station is just less than two miles away and a bus service is available from the Transport Interchange, which is attached to the Train Station.
