Mark Hughes has urged his Bantams to continue causing opposing sides problems and building momentum, ahead of Saturday's visit of AFC Wimbledon.
City welcome the Dons on the back of Sky Bet League Two victories over Walsall, Tranmere and Stevenage, looking for their fifth-straight win in all competitions.
Hughes praised his squad’s confident performances, and is particularly proud of his new signings for adapting and adjusting quickly to life in claret and amber.
He said: “We want to have the ability to continue getting positive results. The more three points we pick up, the better we get, especially with our confidence levels.
“After each victory, we are getting more of an understanding of what is required, what works for us and what we can do to cause problems against top opposition.
“We will still come together as a group. We have had a huge influx of new players and I think, with how they have been able to adapt and understand what I require of them, they have done well to gel in with the rest of the squad and with one another so quickly.
“I get the impression they enjoy each-other's company, on and off the pitch. They are a great group to work with at the moment, and I hope that continues.
“There will be moments throughout the season where we will not be as strong, but we have to ensure those periods are short and we return sharper. With the strength of the group, I feel we can do that.”
Hughes’ side currently sit three points off third-placed Northampton Town in the table, though he aims to keep his players grounded and focused on each individual game.
The Bantams boss admitted his side still has a lot of work to do in order to achieve success this campaign, and insists Wimbledon will provide a stern test ahead of their visit to West Yorkshire.
He continued: “We have to celebrate wins when they happen, that is fundamental. We should always praise the players when they do well.
“We cannot get ahead of ourselves, though. There is still a long road ahead of us before we succeed in anything this season.
“We enjoy winning, but we understand there is a lot of work to be done for us to sustain our strong run of form.
“I suspect it will be a different challenge against Wimbledon. They play with the ball on the ground and progress up the field with good movement.
“That is a change in what we are used to, but that is what this league throws at you. Any given Saturday, you could be up against a completely different team, formation and approach.
“We have to make sure our play is consistent and threatening enough to enable us to win the game.
“It is another huge task ahead of us on Saturday, but I believe we are more than capable of winning and putting on a good, confident and positive performance.”
