The Bantams will take the field at the Utilita Energy Stadium for one final time this season on Saturday, welcoming Carlisle United for a Sky Bet League Two clash, set for 3.00pm.
The Cumbrians have endured a difficult season, but the arrival of former manager Paul Simpson helped them secure their league status for another year.
Simpson has since signed a three-year-deal at Brunton Park after guiding them to safety as the club looks to build on the good results they have accumulated in recent weeks.

ONES TO WATCH
Omari Patrick
Omari Patrick returned to Carlisle in January, scoring on his debut against another former team - City.
The forward spent time at Brunton Park last season having signed from the Bantams in January 2020, with impressive performances earning him a move to Burton Albion.
Patrick is now the Cumbrians top scorer with nine goals to his name.
Mark Howard
The Cumbrians’ goalkeeper has played a key part in their turn around this season after signing in the January window.
Howard has kept an impressive 11 clean sheets in 34 games, saving two penalties along the way.
The 36-year-old started his career with Arsenal before a number of moves around the UK, but he really made his name in with Sheffield United - making over 100 appearances for the Blades.
Jordan Gibson
Another former Bantam, and another who scored in the reverse fixture, Gibson has contributed more goals than any of his team-mates.
With seven goals complemented by four assists, Gibson is in contention for the Cumbrians’ Player of the Season in his first year with the club.
Gibson spent his youth career with Wolves before signing for Rangers and eventually, City.
CAPTAIN
Callum Guy captains the Blues, extending his stay in the summer after an impressive start to life in Cumbria.
Guy is another name City fans will recognise having donned the claret and amber on loan from Derby in 2018. Another loan club during his time with Derby opted to sign him permanently - with Guy joining Blackpool in 2019.
The skipper made 47 appearances in his first season at Brunton Park as he finished as Sky Bet League Two’s highest assist provider.
MANAGER
Paul Simpson returned to his hometown club after 14 years, guiding them to safety following Keith Millen’s departure.
‘Simmo’ famously led the Brunton Park club to back-to-back promotions in 2005 and 2006, before leaving to take the post at Preston North End, who had reached the Sky Bet Championship play-offs in the season prior.
The 55-year-old has won eight of his 15 games in charge, more than double the wins they accumulated before his arrival.
