TEAM NEWS

City: Danny Rowe will be pushing for a start in City colours after appearing off the bench against Scunthorpe United.

Billy Clarke, who is one game off his 450th career appearance, is a doubt for the trip to Essex. Callum Cooke, Zeli Ismail, Lee Novak, Harry Pritchard, Reece Staunton and Bryce Hosannah all remain out.

The Bantams’ back four of Connor Wood, Niall Canavan, Paudie O’Connor and Anthony O’Connor has been unchanged since mid-February and is expected to remain the same.

Colchester: Tommy Smith is in line to feature against the Bantams on Saturday afternoon, having started all but one of Colchester's league matches so far this season.

Dean Gerken, Tom Eastman and Frank Nouble could all play a part in this weekend’s clash after starting against Tranmere Rovers in midweek.

Ex-Bantam Aramide Oteh may face his former side, after making the bench for the U’s on Tuesday evening.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAID

Conor Sellars: "Five games without a win is not good enough, and nowhere near where we want to be.

"We have to be clear in what we believe in, and what this club is about, which is fighting for every single point.

"We have seen bits of Colchester, and they have played a few different formations over the past few games - so it should be in interesting game."

Wayne Brown: "The belief has never changed, it has always been there from the first day that I came into this evironment.

"It has all been about positive vibes, positive moods - building on performances.

"I keep saying to the lads to just keep building on performances. All you can do is go out there and put a real good performance in, and the results will come."
