City: Danny Rowe will be pushing for a start in City colours after appearing off the bench against Scunthorpe United.
Billy Clarke, who is one game off his 450th career appearance, is a doubt for the trip to Essex. Callum Cooke, Zeli Ismail, Lee Novak, Harry Pritchard, Reece Staunton and Bryce Hosannah all remain out.
The Bantams’ back four of Connor Wood, Niall Canavan, Paudie O’Connor and Anthony O’Connor has been unchanged since mid-February and is expected to remain the same.
Colchester: Tommy Smith is in line to feature against the Bantams on Saturday afternoon, having started all but one of Colchester's league matches so far this season.
Dean Gerken, Tom Eastman and Frank Nouble could all play a part in this weekend’s clash after starting against Tranmere Rovers in midweek.
