Bradford City AFC is delighted to announce an 86% increase in like-for-like sales of the club’s all-new 2021/22 home shirt.
More than 1,000 shirts have been purchased in the first week of sales, online and in store.
The increase represents the difference in sales between this season’s and last season’s home strips across the opening seven-day period.
The kit was unveiled last Monday (July 12) alongside ‘A Story Retold’ - a nostalgic look back on the club’s 1981/82 promotion-winning season.
Shirts were initially available to purchase via the club’s official retail website, before being launched in The City Shop on Friday morning.
City’s chief executive officer, Ryan Sparks, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the response to our new home strip. It has certainly been a busy week for our retail team.
“Sales are up exponentially and we are still looking forward to launching our away, third and remaining goalkeeper strips over the coming weeks.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank our supporters for their ongoing backing. We are delighted the new shirt has been well received.”
