SELLARS DETERMINED AHEAD OF WALSALL CLASH

Conor Sellars insists the Bantams are determined to return home from Walsall with another three points - ahead of tomorrow’s clash at the Banks’s Stadium.

City descend on the Midlands looking for their fourth-consecutive victory, after overcoming Leyton Orient in midweek.

And, while assuring his side are refusing to look any further than their next game, Sellars is adamant the Bantams are entering every encounter desperate for three points.

He said: “We are going into every game to win, and are concentrating on nothing other than picking up three points in our next match.

“We are not looking at the table a lot, in that regard, and are just taking it one game at a time - with that same underdog mentality.

“Everybody at the club is delighted with the past 12 games, and the run we are currently on, but it is just a case of us looking at the next match and staying concentrated on our job.”

Sellars admitted he, Mark Trueman and the rest of the staff and players have spent a lot of time working on tomorrow’s hosts, as they always try to do.

With the managerial change on Bescot Crescent, City’s joint manager is expecting a difficult challenge.

He added: “With their game on Wednesday night, and situation with their change of manager, it is something we have had to concentrate on a lot.

“They are a good team and will pose another tough test, but we have to be ready.

“We are well aware that every team in this division can be strong on their day, and anyone can beat anyone, so we just need to make sure we do all we can against Walsall to get those three points.”
