TEAM NEWS

Stuart McCall has a near-full squad to choose from for Saturday’s away trip.

Summer signing Levi Sutton serves the final game of a suspension carried over from the 2019/20 season, though Connor Shanks should be fit after being sidelines with a recent knock.

One member of the Bantams' squad is unlikely to travel having suffered from illness.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAID

Stuart McCall: "It will be a difficult game.

"Forest Green have brought players in and we know what to expect, but it is about what we focus on.

"They started very well last season and ended up just slipping outside the play-offs."

Mark Cooper: "Bradford play in a similar way to which we play.

"They have got some experienced players and, of course, our fans will know about Kurtis Guthrie.

"It is going to be a tough game. They have got some good players and we will have to be at the top of our game to win it."

The two sides have met only once before, with Forest Green Rovers scoring a 93rd-minute winner to secure a 1-0 victory at the Utilita Energy Stadium last season.
