Billy Clarke is looking to further build upon the form City have begun demonstrating - ahead of this evening’s meeting with Port Vale.
The Bantams welcome the Valiants to the Utilita Energy Stadium in their final match of 2020 - on the back of three-successive victories.
Clarke has been happy with he and his team-mates’ recent displays, but stressed the importance of developing even more.
He said: “We obviously enjoy winning, and so the past three games have been brilliant.
“The mood is very good as a result of that, and we are hoping it can continue.
“The past four matches are ones which we are still looking to build on, because our league position is still one which is nowhere near good enough.
“There have been foundations and building blocks set, but we know we are far from finished.
“We are hopefully on the way to becoming successful and just need to make sure we stay concentrated.”
Clarke also spoke of his delight at learning of Mark Trueman and Conor Sellars’ appointments as join-interim managers, ahead of the Port Vale meeting.
The Irish forward has enjoyed working with the pair so far and feels the news will add even more stability going forward.
He added: “It will not bring too many changes for us as players, because we still need to feel on our toes and want to impress them.
“First impressions have been great and everyone needs to keep this up. It is exactly what Mark and Conor have deserved and we just need to make sure we keep going with what we are doing.
“Ten points from 12 is a brilliant return and what they have done so far speaks for itself.
“They have been great with all the lads. We appreciate the hard work they are putting in and want to do well for them.
“They are relentless in the work they do and the demands they put on us as players, and we are enjoying it.”
