Young, aspiring footballers are invited to sign up for Bradford City Community Foundation's 'meet and greet' event, to take place in December.
The open day, to be held at the Utilita Energy Stadium, will take place prior to the Bantams' game against Salford City, on Saturday December 21.
The afternoon will be used to advertise the community foundation's two-year shadow scholarship scheme, as part of the Football & Education programme currently run at the club.
The scholarships apply to anyone interested in pursuing a career in football, currently at school - in year 11.
Participants who register their interest will be offered an under-16s ticket for the first team clash against the Ammies, and will then be contacted - early next year - for trials.
The schemes cater for all abilities and mix study with football to offer school leavers an enterprising alternative to college or sixth form, while working towards a career in sport.
This fantastic opportunity can lead to full-time employment, scholarships abroad or higher education at university level.
