Gary Bowyer's Bantams extended their unbeaten run to six matches with a 2-0 victory over Mansfield Town.
A penalty in each half from the returning James Vaughan did the damage for Bowyer's side, who got back to winning ways at the Utilita Energy Stadium.
Despite a slow start, it was the home side who took the lead with 13 minutes on the clock.
Neat play from Dylan Connolly saw him burst into the box and feed Matt Palmer who was bundled over in the area.
Skipper Vaughan stepped up to hammer his spot-kick into the top corner.
The Bantams then made sure of the points with seven minutes of a tight second half remaining, through another Vaughan penalty.
Another surging Connolly run into the area saw him brought down by Matt Preston.
Top-scorer Vaughan again stepped up to send Conrad Logan the wrong way and double City's advantage.
Bowyer's men went close, late on, in search of a third - through substitute Chris Taylor - though 2-0 it finished.
