The Bantams travel to Crewe this afternoon and we have compiled a handy Away Day Guide - packed full of useful information - ahead of the 3.00pm contest in Cheshire.
ABOUT THE GROUND
The Alexandra Stadium, more commonly referred to as Gresty Road, has housed Crewe Alexandra since 1906.
The ground undertook a major redevelopment in the 1990s, with all four of the ground’s stands becoming all-seated.
City supporters will today be housed in the Whitby Morrison Ice Cream Van Stand
Built in 2001, this all-seated stand is situated behind the goal at the south end of the ground. It has a capacity of 1,390.
Supporters CAN pay on the gate this afternoon at Crewe.
Matchday admission prices are as follows:
Adults (17-59) - £22
Concessions (60+) - £17
12-16 years - £10.50
Under-11s - £6.50
Disabled - £17.00 (Carer – FREE)
Ambulant disabled supporters pay the age related price for their ticket. Should they need a full-time carer to accompany them to the game, the carer is free of charge. Carer tickets should only be issued if when purchasing the tickets, the person can show evidence of full-time carer status.
The Alexandra Stadium operate a scan entry system. Please ensure that the bar code on the tickets you receive are intact. Supporters will need to show their ticket upon entry to the steward at the turnstile who will scan you into the stadium.
There are 564 pay-and-display car park spaces at the ground, priced at £3.50, and local street parking - in the vicinity of the stadium - is also available.
PYROTECHNICS & BEHAVIOUR
The club would like to remind supporters the possession or use of pyrotechnics inside a football ground is strictly prohibited.
Those found to be carrying or using pyrotechnics will face a long-term ban.
We would like to remind supporters it is a criminal offence to enter the pitch at any time.
Anyone who does so without permission can expect to face prosecution.
ENTERTAINMENT AND REFRESHMENTS
There are a number of pubs within walking distance of the ground. Brocklebank pub - a Brewers Fayre outlet - is popular with away supporters, with a large screen showing Sky Sports.
Down Nantwich Road, on the right-hand side just past the traffic lights is the Beer Dock, for those who enjoy their real ale, craft beers and a range of lager and ciders.
In the town centre is the Hops Bar on Prince Albert Street and a Wetherspoons outlet on Victoria Street, called the Gaffers Row.
Alcohol is available inside the stadium to away fans, serving bottle of Carlsberg.
Crewe Alexandra is just a five-minute walk from Crewe train station, and with great links to the country it's easy to get here.
Once you arrive at the train station, you can see the ground, turn left out of the main entrance and walk down to the second left, marked with the road sign Gresty Road. Then the ground is just a five minute walk down the road.
Crewe Alexandra Football Club can be accessed by two junctions off the M6, but please note that it is easier to get here by leaving at junction 16.
