Bradford City is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of World Cup winner Ramon 'Ray' Wilson MBE at the age of 83.
Wilson featured as a player and then as caretaker manager for the Bantams during the early 1970s.
The former defender, who was famously part of the team that secured the World Cup for England back in 1966, also played for near neighbours Huddersfield Town, Everton and Oldham Athletic during his career.
The Club would like to send their condolences to the friends and family of Ray at this very difficult time.
