The Bantams have signed winger Sherwin Seedorf - nephew of Netherlands' footballing legend Clarence, on loan until the middle of January 2019 from Wolves.
Having developed through the youth ranks at Feyenoord, where he spent seven years, Seedorf spent a period of time with the Nike Academy before joining the West Midlands' outfit.
The 20-year-old has yet to make a first-team appearance for Wolves, but he is highly-regarded at Molineux.
Known for his explosive pace, Sherwin was a regular in Wolves' Under-23s side during their 2017/18 campaign, notching three goals and six assists in 17 Premier League 2 appearances.
With his previous deal due to expire this summer, Seedorf has recently put pen to paper on a new two-year contract with his parent club, who have high hopes he can make the breakthrough into the first-team at Molineux in the future.
Head of Recruitment, Greg Abbott, believes Sherwin has the potential to excite City fans with his pace and attacking flair. Greg commented: "Another exciting signing"
"Sherwin has bags of pace that can be utilized on either the left side or the right. He can provide width as well as fast, direct crosses"
"His alarming pace will surprise defenders and put them on the back foot. That, along with his natural dribbling ability make him excel at beating players one on one"
We spoke with Sherwin Seedorf after he signed with the Club, and he expressed how he is looking forward to developing at Bradford City:
"It feels very good to start this journey and to develop myself as a player"
"I'm a fast player. I love to take people on. I am a very direct player, so I can serve the strikers"
"It's very good to have good coaches, a young coach as well. He understands the players more."
