BIG MATCH PREVIEW | FLEETWOOD TOWN (HOME)

26 September 2017

After collecting a hard-fought victory at Northampton Town at the weekend, Stuart McCall's Bantams return to the Northern Commercials Stadium this Tuesday (26 September 2017) for the visit of Fleetwood Town.

The match, of course, be City's first encounter with Fleetwood since last season's play-off semi-finals.

While City will be looking to secure another win from Tuesday's contest, opponents Fleetwood will surely be aiming to bounce back and claim a positive rsult themselves after a 4-2 home loss to Southend United last Saturday.

Fleetwood also lost out in their previous away fixture, going down 4-1 at Portsmouth, although it must be noted that Uwe Rosler's side have had a man sent off in both of their last two fixtures.

Team News

Bradford City
City boss Stuart McCall has said in the build-up to this fixture that he will be making changes to his starting XI.

The Bantams are currently top of the form table for League One, but McCall is wary of the players' recent workload after a busy month.

While looking around his squad for possible options, McCall must also factor in a couple of knocks picked up during the weekend win at Northampton.

Timothee Dieng is making progress from a calf injury and could make a return to full training as early as Thursday.

Fleetwood Town
Kyle Dempsey will be back available to the Cod Army this Tuesday after missing the Southend defeat through suspension.

Fellow midfielder Aiden O'Neill will miss out on the trip to Valley Parade, however, following his dismissal in the Southend game.

Conor McAleny could be sidelined due to a troublesome ankle problem, while former Bantams Devante Cole and Jordy Hiwula could be paired together in attack.

Cole is Fleetwood's top-scorer so far this season with six goals.
