McCall's men were full value for a two-goal half-time advantage after Charlie Wyke's early double but second period goals from David Wheater and Gary Madine earned the visiting Whites a share of the spoils from a 2-2 draw.
City's chief was understandably frustrated to see his side fail to claim victory from a game that they had controlled for long periods, with McCall admitting that small defensive lapses were costing the Bantams at present.
After seeing City produce yet another commendable performance though, following on from similar displays in recent weeks, McCall is confident the Bantams have what it takes to get on a winning run soon.
McCall said: "Unfortunately it is a bit of the same old story for us.
"This is a game we should have won but we have been at fault defensively today (Saturday) with their goals.
"I believe we still have the second best defensive record in the division but we need to have a look at the goals we are conceding.
"We have just started to concede a few 'soft' goals and it is something we need to iron out.
"It is so hard to put a downer on this group of players though. They have dominated long periods of the game, in particular the first half.
"We were actually slightly disappointed to be only two goals up at half time.
"In front of a tremendous atmosphere created by the supporters, we've played some outstanding attacking football at times.
"It is another point for us to add to the total, and a point against a good side.
"If we keep putting in attacking displays like we did this afternoon, I'm sure we will win a lot of games.
"We have thirteen games left. Can we win six or seven of them? Maybe more? Of course we can. We are 100% good enough to get where we want to be.
"We have belief in that dressing room. We have the belief that we have a terrific group of players who give everything for the shirt and play well.
"They were low after the game because, like the last three or four games, they have not got what they've deserved.
"I wish the Port Vale game (next Saturday) was this Tuesday, and I know the players do too.
"I'm sure we'll be backed by another tremendous following and the lads will give it all they've got again.
"We cannot look back now. In these last thirteen games, lets go and do absolutely everything we can do to try and make this a successful season."
