Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has responded to the defeat at Sheffield United on Bank Holiday Monday by making three changes to his line up for City's first game of the new calendar year at Gillingham.
James Meredith, Billy Knott and Devante Cole have all been restored to the Bantams' starting XI for the club's maiden match of 2016.
The trio of alterations means Greg Leigh and Billy Clarke will start the fixture at the Priestfield Stadium from the bench. They will be joined among City's substitutes by Christopher Routis and Luke James.
Jordan Bowery misses the final game of his loan period from Rotherham United due to a back injury. Lee Evans is also not involved in City's match-day eighteen.
