CITY CHARGED BY THE F.A

19 January 2015

Following the Bantams' F.A Cup third round replay with Millwall last Wednesday (14 January 2015), City have been charged by The Football Association for failing to ensure their players and/or officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.

Visitors Millwall have also received the same charge.

It follows an incident in the 28th minute of the match at the Coral Windows Stadium when a push on James Hanson by Millwall's Alan Dunne sparked a mass confrontation between the two teams.

The incident also resulted in Bantams boss Phil Parkinson and his assistant Steve Parkin being charged for improper conduct.

The City duo, along with both clubs, have until 6:00pm this Wednesday (21 January 2015) to respond to the charges.

Should City and/or Parkinson and Parkin be found guilty of the charges, the most likely punished to be given out by The F.A would be a fine or a warning about their future conduct.
