City chief Phil Parkinson added to his squad late on Deadline Day by snapping up imposing Scottish centre half Gary MacKenzie on loan from Blackpool until the end of the season.
On top of MacKenzie's Deadline Day arrival, City also extended the loan period of fellow Blackpool player, Francois Zoko, until the end of the season during this recent window.
Jon Stead was another player to stay at the Coral Windows Stadium when the Bantams also extended his loan move until the end of the campaign.
Further business for City in January came in the form of the permanent signing of Andy Halliday from Middlesbrough. Halliday was originally on loan to City from the Riverside Stadium but the Bantams have now taken over his contract, which is due to expire at the end of the season.
As well as keeping hold of Zoko, Stead and Halliday, City managed to secure both Filipe Morais and Ben Williams to long-term contracts during the month of January.
Morais signed a fresh two-and-a-half year contract, while Williams penned an eighteen-month deal.
January also saw the departures of young professionals Lewis Clarkson and Niall Heaton.
Heaton left to join Vanarama Conference side Alfreton Town, Clarkson came to an agreement with City to cancel his contract early.
In terms of out-goings, Bantams striker Aaron Mclean also extended his loan deal with Peterborough United until the end of the season and Oliver McBurnie joined Conference side Chester F.C on loan.
