BANTAMS DUO FEATURE IN STADIUM FRIENDLY

5 November 2014

City duo Oliver McBurnie and Matt Urwin both saw action this Wednesday in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the Coral Windows Stadium.

The pair featured in a City XI that defeated a side from the academic and soccer academy RIASA 5-1.

Frontman Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, who has been training with City in recent weeks, also played for the Bradford City team.

In front of City's coaching staff, including Bantams boss Phil Parkinson, the former Wolves striker scored twice and had a hand in two of the other goals.

Ebanks-Blake came off after just under hour after tweaking his hamstring, while McBurnie was given around 75 minutes and Urwin lasted the whole game.

Apart from Ebanks-Blake, McBurnie and Urwin, the rest of the City XI were made up by other members of the RIASA programme.

One of the RIASA players to appear in the game for the City XI side was Jordan Hendrie, son of legendary former City attacker, John Hendrie.
