Youth team reach area final

18 March 2014

City's youth team have made it to the Football League Youth Alliance (Northern Section) Cup Final after a 4-2 victory over Blackpool this Tuesday evening.

Goals from Oliver McBurnie (two penalties), Joe Brennan and Nathan Curtis helped City to win their semi at Garforth Town against the Seasiders - a side who are currently top of the Youth Alliance North West division.

The Bantams will now play Hull City in the area final.

This continued cup success for the club's apprentices comes as they look to secure the league title in their coming Youth Alliance North East division fixtures.

City's under 18's are currently ten points clear of their nearest rival Doncaster Rovers, who only have four league matches left to play.
