KIT IN PLACE FOR TRAINING RETURN

26 June 2014

With the return of City's players for the beginning of pre-season now only days away, Bantams kit man John Duckworth has been hard at work this week ensuring that all of the club's new Nike 2014/2015 training and coaching attire is in place and ready for action.

After nearly two months away following the conclusion of last season, Phil Parkinson's squad will begin their preparations for the forthcoming campaign early next week when they start their pre-season training programme at Apperley Bridge.

City's players have made visits to the club's training ground during this month to undergo some pre-planned fitness tests to ensure they are keeping in top shape, but next week's return to training will be the first time the Bantams have been together as a group since the end of last season.

To make sure Parkinson and his squad are all kitted up for the big return, John - ably assisted by fellow staff member Leanne Higgs - has been getting the coaching and playing kit all in order over the last few days.

That might be sound a relatively easy task but with a large number of playing and coaching staff to cater for, each of whom need several items of kit, plus the club's youth team players and staff to sort out as well, it means a lot of organising and a lot of work!

Each piece of playing kit also has to be individually numbered, while the coaching staff have their items of kit branded with their initials on them.

Below are some pictures giving fans a sneaky peek at the club's new 2014/2015 training gear as John and Leanne get it all ready for next week's big return to training.
