City kick off their Johnstone's Paint Trophy campaign this Tuesday (3 September 2013) with a trip to Victoria Park to take on League 2 side Hartlepool United.
In a repeat of last season's second round tie, which City won on penalties after a goalless ninety minutes, Phil Parkinson's men will travel north looking to get the better of Pools in a Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie.
Tuesday's tie will, in fact, be the third time in four seasons that The Bantams have played at Hartlepool in this competition.
Kick off for this season's tie will be at the slightly earlier time of 7:00PM.
In keeping with the competition's values, the 7:00pm kick off time has been arranged to try and encourage young families to come and watch the match.
Ticket prices for the tie with the League 2 side will be:
Concessions: U16’s & Over 60’s - £5.00
No student discounts
Supporters will be able to pay on the turnstiles on the night at Hartlepool, who are now managed by former Bantams assistant Colin Cooper.
Supporters are reminded that there is NO extra-time period scheduled for Tuesday's tie if the scores remain level after the normal ninety-minute period. If the game is still tied after full time, the winners of the match will be decided by a penalty shoot-out.
