Youth team remain unbeaten

9 November 2013

City's youth team kept up their unbeaten start to the season following their 2-0 home win over Burton Albion this Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance North East division.

Despite being without suspended duo Callum Chippendale and James Pollard, as well top scorer Oliver McBurnie due to his first team involvement, goals from under 16's duo James Brennan and Reece Webb-Foster maintained City's six-point lead at the top of the table.

Following continued redevelopment work at City's Apperley Bridge training ground, the game with Burton was played at Eccleshill United's Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

With no league fixture scheduled for City's apprentices this coming weekend, the next scheduled for the Bantams' youngsters is their F.A Youth Cup Second Round tie at Morecambe a week on Wednesday (20 November 2013).
