Bohemian game confirmed

18 June 2013

The football club can now confirm that Phil Parkinson's men will face Airtricity Premier Division side Bohemian FC as part of their week-long trip to Ireland next month.

The match at Bohemian's Dalymount Park will take place on Saturday 20th July 2013 at 1:00pm.

The game will be one of two matches Parkinson's squad will take part in during their time in the country. The club hope to be in a position to confirm details of City's second Ireland match - expected to be on Tuesday 16 July - in the next day or so.

Bohs, who are based in Dublin, are the oldest Irish club in continuous existence and have won the League of Ireland an impressive eleven times.

They have also featured in a number of UEFA Cup/Europa League and UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds in the past, including ten separate European campaigns since the new Millennium.

Bohemians' most recent match in Europe came last summer when they exited the Europa League at the first qualifying round stage at the hands of Icelandic side Por Akureyri.

City will release admission details for their friendly fixture at Bohemian in due course.
