New away kit revealed

12 July 2013

The football club is delighted to finally be able to reveal to its supporters City's brand new Nike away strip for the 2013/2014 season.

The change strip features a predominately sky blue shirt which fades into white, white shorts and white socks.

Along with the now-traditional star on the top of the club badge to acknowledge City's 1911 F.A Cup win, the all-blue back of the shirt features the usual memorial ribbon just below the collar as a mark of respect to those supporters who lost their lives in the 1985 Valley Parade fire memorial.

The front of the jersey also has the club's new shirt sponsor JCT600 emblazoned across the chest.

The kit, which is modeled by City skipper Gary Jones, can be pre-ordered now via the club shop's online store.

The club's official online store is now available to use once again following development work on the site in recent weeks. New away kits cannot be pre-ordered directly from the Bantams Club Shop, however, all pre-orders must be done online.

All pre-ordered stock online will be sent to supporters via the post. No kit will be available to collect from the Bantams Ticket Office in person. There is unfortunately no guarantee that any pre-ordered kit will reach supporters by launch-day either.

Along with pre-ordering the club's new away shirt, the new range of the 2013/14 Training Wear is now available for supporters to view and order for the first time as well.

Stocks are not available in the store until next week, however, so please take note of the estimated dispatch date on the item before placing your order.

The new online store has seen a raft of changes and improvements aimed at giving supporters a better customer service and overall user experience:

> New Track and Trace service – Track the progress of your order from order to delivery. On dispatch of your order a tracking number will be placed against your order on your online account, meaning you can track this all online and cut out having to ring the store to trace your order.

> Shop on the go – The new online store is fully responsive meaning that the screen will adjust to your device! Easier navigation and ordering facilities are now available on your mobile and tablet.

> New Search facility – We have implemented a new search bar down the side of selected menu pages, allowing you to search by item type or price. Perfect if you’re looking for gift within a certain budget!

> New In’ section on the front page – An easier guide to show supporters the latest products that have arrived into the Bradford City Club Shop.

> New tools have also been implemented to help our club shop staff pack and dispatch your orders quicker.

 > New cleaner look and easier navigation.

Fans can visit the online store by clicking HERE.

The kit will actually go on sale to all supporters from Friday 26 July. Despite giving supporters the option to pre-order the away strip online, the Bantams Club Shop will also have plenty of stock in store on launch-day for supporters wishing to purchase their kit in person.

Supporters will also have the option of purchasing their away kit the day after launch-day on Saturday 27 July - the date of City's only home pre-season friendly of the summer against Doncaster Rovers.
