Bantams attacker Garry Thompson is expected to be in contention for City's match with table-toppers Leyton Orient this Saturday following a recent injection in his Achilles.
City took advantage of last weekend's break in their league schedule to ensure Thompson received the injection after the 33 year-old had been hampered with a minor problem in that area during recent games.
Thompson returned to training this week following the treatment and he should now find himself available for selection for the Bantams' Sky Bet League 1 encounter with Orient at the Coral Windows Stadium.
Bantams assistant Steve Parkin said: "The break has given us the chance to get one or two things sorted, like Thommo (Gary Thompson) with his injection.
"He took it easy last week but he's back in training now and looking to get himself back and raring to go for the weekend."
