City striker Louie Swain has joined near neighbours Bradford (Park Avenue) on a month's loan.
Swain, 18, completed his move to the Skrill North side this Monday before playing just over an hour in Avenue's first home match of the league campaign against North Ferriby United later that evening.
The young forward sadly couldn't help his new side avoid a four-nil defeat at the hands of North Ferriby at Horsfall Stadium.
Swain signed his first pro contract - a one-year deal - this summer after progressing through the club's youth ranks.
Despite his promotion up into the professional ranks though, Swain has yet to make his senior debut with the club.
He was named on the bench for City's Captial One Cup Fourth Round tie at Wigan Athletic and their F.A Cup with Budweiser First Round replay against Northampton Town last season.
Swain's temporary move to the Horsfall Stadium will see him link up with former City players Luke Dean, Chib Chilaka and Danny Forrest, all of whom currently play for Avenue.
Following Swain's loan deal at Avenue, apprentice striker Oliver McBurnie, who recently enjoyed a work experience spell with Manchester United, will train more regularly with the first-team squad.
