The Bantams have been drawn against Premier League side Aston Villa in the Capital One Cup Semi-Finals.
Phil Parkinson's men will play the first leg at the Coral Windows Stadium on the week commencing 7th January 2013 before travelling to Villa Park two weeks later for the second leg.
The club's two forthcoming ties with Paul Lambert's Villa will be City's first-ever at this stage of the Capital One Cup competition.
The matches will also be City's first involvement with the Birmingham-based club since the two sides met in the Premier League during the 2000/2001 season.
After defeating Leeds United 5-1 at Elland Road this Wednesday evening, Chelsea will take on Swansea City in the other semi.
Ticket details for the club's two historic ties with Villa will be announced in due course.
