Former Shrewsbury Town captain Nathaniel Knight-Percival joined City in the summer of 2016 having left the Shropshire-based side. A ball playing left sided defender, the centre half made 77 appearances (6 goals) for his former club Shrewsbury during two years there. Part of a Histon side that were hugely successful and came close to promotion into the Football League in 2008-09, he moved to Wrexham in April 2010 for an undisclosed fee. Nathaniel made 83 appearances for the club during two years and subsequently made the move into the Football League, signing for Peterborough United in May 2012. During his time with Peterborough, Knight-Percival won the Checkatrade Trophy at Wembley Stadium.
