Tyler joined from non-league AFC Sudbury in the summer of 2019, with a two-year contract keeping him at City until at least the end of the 2020/21 season.
The highly-rated defender will already be accustomed to surroundings at the Bantams, having spent a period as a trialist in BD8 towards the end of last term.
Having also attracted interest from the likes of Charlton, Ipswich and Barnsley, the 20-year-old feels he is now ready for first-team professional football and will be hoping to make his mark on the City side over the course of the coming campaign.
