The Bantams will be aiming to secure their second away victory of the 2021/22 Sky Bet League Two campaign when visiting Salford City tomorrow afternoon. 

The Ammies currently sit 20th in the league table with one win, two draws, and three defeats from their opening six matches.

The Lancashire side proved busier in terms of players leaving this summer, with 11 permanently departing the club.

ONES TO WATCH

Conor McAleny 

The 29-year-old forward arrived at the Peninsula Stadium from Oldham Athletic in the summer, where he netted 21 goals in all competitions last season. 

McAleny scored his first goal for the Ammies in their 3-0 triumph over Newport County on August 28. 

Josh Morris 

Morris joined the club from Sky Bet League One side Fleetwood Town in the summer, and has played every minute for the Ammies in the league so far. 

He also had a spell playing for the Bantams in the 2015/16 campaign. 

Ian Henderson 

The veteran forward joined the club in July 2020 and has so far found the back of the net 20 times in 55 appearances. 

Henderson also got his name on the scoresheet in both league meetings against City last season, including a last-minute winner at the Utilita Energy Stadium. 

MANAGER

Gary Bowyer took charge of the Ammies in March 2021. He has so far overseen 19 matches, winning seven, drawing five, and losing seven. 

The Manchester-born manager spent just under a year in charge of the Bantams from March 2019 until February 2020. 

He has also served spells with Blackburn Rovers and Blackpool.
