BBC RADIO LEEDS COMMENTARY LIMITED TO HOME FIXTURES

7 January 2021

BBC Radio Leeds will be temporarily unable to provide iFollow commentary for each of the Bantams’ away fixtures - until further notice.

England was this week placed back into a national COVID-19 lockdown, in response to the pandemic’s continued threat.

And, while BBC Radio Leeds’ Jamie Raynor and Andy Kiwomya will continue to provide iFollow commentary for all the Bantams’ home fixtures, the same cannot apply for away matches.

This comes as a result of restrictions on local radio sports teams being unable to travel to these games while under current lockdown restrictions.

While the club contests away fixtures, until COVID-19 lockdown restrictions change, commentary via its iFollow video-streaming platform will be provided by the home club.

Supporters will be able to select the home commentary or listen without commentary - by clicking the settings cog on the iFollow stream and selecting the required option.

Fans can alternatively tune in to BBC Radio Leeds’ DAB and FM frequencies while watching the match, though there is expected to be a minor delay.

BBC Radio Leeds will continue to provide iFollow commentary for all City’s home games until further notice.
