OFF-FIELD UPDATE

3 September 2020

The club has moved to update supporters on a number of off-field matters ahead of the new season.

City officials are delighted to confirm that, as of the evening of Thursday September 3, close to 8,000 ‘City For All’ 2020/21 season tickets have been sold.

With a busy weekend of sales expected ahead of Sunday’s deadline, supporters are advised to renew as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment.

iFollow access codes - providing LIVE coverage of every single Bradford City Sky Bet League Two home fixture throughout the 2020/21 season - will be distributed next week, following the end of the sales period.

The EFL will provide clubs with access codes over the weekend, which will be e-mailed out - on a match-by-match basis - to each ‘City For All’ 2020/21 season-ticket holder (excluding under-11s).

To obtain an iFollow access code which will ensure you do not miss a minute of City’s Sky Bet League Two campaign at the Utilita Energy Stadium, you MUST update your details by CLICKING HERE.

Elsewhere, the club is working to enhance areas of - and improve facilities within - the Utilita Energy Stadium ahead of supporters being allowed back inside sporting venues, which could come as early as October.

Exciting commercial partnerships continue to be completed, with a number of local and national businesses on board ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Further announcements are set to be made over the coming days and weeks as City’s commercial portfolio continues to develop and expand.

The club’s director of communications and commercial, Ryan Sparks, said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the terrific support being shown ahead of the start of the new season.

“We have been in conversation with the EFL over the past few days regarding the implementation of iFollow access for our season-ticket holders, and are delighted to say we will soon be receiving codes which will be directly distributed prior to next Saturday’s visit of Colchester United.

“We are keen to ensure the process is slick and simple and will be focussing our attention fully on ensuring supporters obtain their access codes as quickly as possible. In order to help us achieve this, we kindly ask everyone to contact the club - or fill out the online ‘opt-in’ form - and provide up-to-date contact details (e-mail address).

“With October not too far away, where we hope to be able to welcome up to 7,000 fans into the ground, work to improve facilities remains ongoing. We hope to be able to make further announcements on these developments as they happen.

“It goes without saying that the support of our commercial partners throughout this period has been second to none. We are delighted to have retained over 98 per cent of our sponsors, and are equally as pleased to have welcomed a host of new partners to Bradford City, despite the challenges the business world continues to face.

“As a club, we truly appreciate the backing we have been given by supporters and partners and are now looking forward to Saturday and, at long last - after almost six months - seeing Stuart and the players back in action.”

The Bantams raise the curtain on their season this Saturday (September 5) away to Bolton Wanderers in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

Supporters are able to stream this fixture and ensure they do not miss a minute of the action, by purchasing an iFollow video match pass.

This £10 one-off payment will allow you to watch the full game LIVE from the comfort of your own home, and can be obtained by CLICKING HERE.
