ONES TO WATCH
Nicky Maynard
Maynard re-signed with the Stags over the summer after his short-term deal in Nottinghamshire had initially expired.
The experienced forward has enjoyed spells at West Ham United, Cardiff City, Bristol City, MK Dons and Crewe Alexandra - having began in Arsenal's academy back in 1996.
Andy Cook
Cook spent the second half of last season on loan at Tranmere Rovers, having signed a two-year contract with the Stags last summer.
The experienced forward netted seven goals in 10 games for the Stags last season, and has also served spells at Walsall, Tranmere Rovers, Barrow and Grimsby Town.
George Lapslie
A talented midfielder, Lapslie will spend the entire 2020/21 season with the Stags having signed on loan from Charlton Athletic through the week.
The 23-year-old has made over 50 appearances for the London side, as well as spending time on loan with Chelmsford City in 2018.
George Maris
Maris is another of the Stags' new recruits, having signed from Cambridge United over the summer.
The midfielder has spent the past four seasons in Cambridgeshire, making 150 appearances in total.
THE MANAGER
Graham Coughlin is approaching his one-year anniversary as manager of Mansfield Town, having joined from Bristol Rovers in December.
The Dublin-born 45-year-old enjoyed an established playing career in which he represented the likes of Plymouth Argyle, Livingston, Sheffield Wednesday and Shrewsbury Town, as a centre-back.
THE CAPTAIN
Ollie Clarke has proved a popular figure with the Stags faithful, having signed over the summer from Bristol Rovers.
The central midfielder had spent 11 years at the Memorial Stadium prior to joining Mansfield, having graduated from their academy in 2009.
Clarke amassed close to 300 appearances for the south-west outfit, as well as spending time on loan in non-league football.
LAST TIME OUT
Mansfield were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Stevenage last Saturday, as their hunt for a first league victory of the season continued.
