Every supporter who purchased a £10 iFollow video match pass to watch City’s Sky Bet League Two fixture at Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday will receive a full refund.
The club understands technical issues with the service prevented a number of supporters from successfully being able to stream the University of Bolton Stadium contest.
And the EFL has now confirmed it will automatically issue all 1,347 City supporters - the club’s highest away viewing figure of the 2020/21 season so far - who purchased a match pass with a full refund, while standing full costs to ensure the club does not suffer financially.
The EFL has advised the club that each supporter who purchased an iFollow video match pass to watch Bolton Wanderers v Bradford City will be refunded in due course.
