BANTAMS TO MARK REMEMBRANCE WEEKEND

6 November 2020

The Bantams will mark Remembrance Weekend when travelling to Tonbridge Angels in the first round of this season's Emirates FA Cup on Saturday (12.30pm).

The Halycon Wealth Longmead Stadium tie will see both sides observe a minute's silence to remember the fallen ahead of kick-off.

This will come after both team captains have laid a poppy wreath in the centre circle upon entering the field of play.

City players will also carry poppies on their shirts, as the country comes together to reflect - on the 102nd anniversary of the Armistice.

Playing shirts are set to be auctioned off at a later date - with proceeds being donated to the Royal British Legion.

The match will be broadcast LIVE on BBC Sport and BT Sport's online and digital channels.
