COMMUNITY FOUNDATION PROVIDING FOR VULNERABLE DURING PANDEMIC

Bradford City Community Foundation has played an essential role in providing for the local district - during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. 

The club's official community partner has been supporting the local Bradford community by undertaking various provisions since the COVID-19 outbreak. 

So far, measures include the delivery of essential food parcels and freshly-cooked hot meals to over 30 local schools - in partnership with the Penny Appeal. 

On top of this, over £200 worth of Morrisons vouchers and £500 worth of Asda vouchers have been distributed amongst schools. 

Online coaching sessions have been delivered to 45 of Bradford City Girls' players, while daily educational content has been published on social media for youngsters to make use of. 

The awarding of a further £500 through a local funding provider has also enabled the foundation to purchase and distribute a further batch of Asda vouchers. 

These measures ensure over 400 meals have seen over 60 families in Bradford aided with daily essentials, through the schools care packages have been delivered to being able to distribute to those most in need. 

The supply of essentials is relied upon by donations. Bradford City Football Community are on course to reach their £1,000 fundraising target and supporters are urged, where possible, to play their part.
