CITY LAUNCH SUNFLOWER LANYARDS

2 March 2020

Bradford City are pleased to announce the launch of Sunflower Lanyards - aimed at recognising individuals with hidden disabilities.

Initially launched in 2016, the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard Scheme offers support for those with hidden disabilities, by allowing them to be recognised with the sunflower-designed lanyards they are wearing.

The sunflower symbolises happiness, positivity and strength and intends to allow everyone with a hidden disability to choose to be subtly visible when they need to be.

The Sunflower Lanyards are now available to be worn on City matchdays by any adult or child with a hidden disability.

They can be picked up from the main reception at the Utilita Energy Stadium on weekdays from 9.00am until 5.00pm.

Alternative arrangements to collect a lanyard can also be made by contacting the club's disability liaison officer, Louise Lawrence, by e-mailing support@bradfordcityfc.co.uk.

Staff - who have had training to assist supporters who choose to wear the lanyards - can also be found around the Utilita Energy Stadium.
