BRADFORD SPORTS AWARDS HELD AT UTILITA ENERGY STADIUM

15 March 2020

Over 400 people were in attendance as the Utilita Energy Stadium hosted the 2020 Bradford Sports Awards this week.

Held on Thursday evening, the annual awards - run by Active Bradford - celebrated their sixth-consecutive year by recognising incredible sporting achievements across the district.

The ceremony was hosted by BBC presenter Tanya Arnold and included appearances from City manager Stuart McCall and Chris and James from team Hell Oar High Water - who the club were proud to support in their recent completion of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.

This year saw another record number of nominees, with a total of 18 awards won.

These included the Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year gongs - claimed respectively by Dean Harrison and Jasmin Akter - while netball coach Pam Hoyle walked away with the Special Recognition prize.
