Richard O’Donnell has been ruled out for up to four weeks with a hamstring injury.
The City goalkeeper suffered the setback during the closing stages of Saturday’s trip to Crawley Town.
O’Donnell, 31, joined the club last summer and has been an ever-present in Gary Bowyer’s Sky Bet League Two side, this season.
Bowyer is disappointed to see his No.1 sidelined.
He said: “Rich has been one of our most consistent performers this season and has operated at a very high level.”
“We are all disappointed with the news of his injury and know he is working hard to get back as soon as possible.”
