Sam Hornby's loan spell at Vanarama National League side AFC Fylde has been extended until the end of the current season.
The goalkeeper initally joined Jim Bentley's side - who reached the third round of this year's Emirates FA Cup - on a short-term agreement, last October.
Hornby, 24, arrived at the Utilita Energy Stadium during the summer and has made two competitive appearances since joining the club.
The move is subject to the relevant FA and EFL clearances.
