Eoin Doyle has joined Swindon Town for an undisclosed fee.
Doyle, 31, has returned to the Robins having spent the first half of the season on loan at The Energy Check County Ground.
An offer was tabled for the former Preston North End striker earlier this week.
After being recalled on January 8, Doyle expressed a desire to return to Swindon and the club have today accepted the Wiltshire outfit’s offer.
City manager Gary Bowyer said: "Throughout the course of any transfer window, you have to act in the best interests of the club, which we feel we have done with this agreement."
