MORECAMBE TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE

18 December 2020

Tickets for the Bantams' Sky Bet League Two visit of Morecambe on Saturday 2 December 2021 are now available online to 'Claret' 'City For All' season-ticket holders - who were able to secure tickets for tomorrow's visit of Cambridge United.

Following yesterday's announcement that the Bradford district would remain under tier 3 COVID-19 lockdown restrictions - meaning supporters would not be allowed inside the Utilita Energy Stadium to watch tomorrow's encounter live - the club began preparing for the next reviewing of lockdown measures, on Wednesday December 30.

Should Bradford be placed into tier 2 on this date, and measures come into effect ahead of Saturday 2 January 2021, City's visit of Morecambe will see up to 2,000 supporters allowed inside the Utilita Energy Stadium.

Given the fact the first ‘Claret’ and ‘Amber’ matches from the club’s original fixture list (against Cambridge United and Port Vale respectively), will be behind closed doors, the Morecambe fixture will remain ‘Claret’ and the fixture list continue in its original order from this point.

This means tickets for the Morecambe fixture are now available to 'Claret' season-ticket holders who secured their place at the Cambridge match. These supporters are GUARANTEED a ticket for the Morecambe game - should they choose to secure one.

Tickets are available NOW via the club's online ticketing system and will remain so UNTIL 5.00PM TOMORROW (Saturday December 19). To secure your tickets - please CLICK HERE

Having already paid a £1 transaction fee to secure their Cambrisge United tickets, supporters will not be charged when securing Morecambe tickets, though will receive a new ticket in the post which will admit them into the fixture, should lockdown restrictions allow supporters inside sporting venues at this point.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets secured for the ‘Claret’ fixture against Cambridge United on Saturday December 19 WILL NOT be valid for the Bantams’ Saturday 2 January 2021 meeting with Morecambe - should Bradford be in tier 2 and supporters be admitted.

Supporters who secured a Cambridge United ticket but wish not to attend the Morecambe fixture - and would like their £1 transaction fee refunded - are politely asked to e-mail ticketingsupport@bradfordcityfc.co.uk.

Monies on this account can therefore in turn then be used to pay for future transaction fees when securing tickets for ‘Claret’ or ‘Amber’ fixtures going forward.

A limited number of tickets which were not claimed ahead of the Cambridge United clash will be made available to ‘Claret’ ‘City For All’ season-ticket holders for the Morecambe fixture on Saturday 2 January 2021 - via our online ticketing service - FROM 10.00AM ON MONDAY (December 21). These tickets will then only apply should tier 2 COVID-19 lockdown restrictions come into effect across the Bradford district on or before Saturday 2 January 2021, and will again entail a £1 transaction fee - to cover administration costs.

PLEASE NOTE: The club has acknowledged an error with its online ticketing system which wrongly charged supporters a £4 transaction fee when securing Cambridge United tickets, instead of £1. Supporters who were charged extra have had this amount automatically refunded, and the credits placed back into their online ticketing account balance.
