CITY SUPPORTING 'BOOT THE VIRUS'

15 April 2020

City are proud to be supporting 'Boot The Virus' - helping raise vital funds for the NHS.

Created by lifelong Preston North End supporter Kenny Marland and his partner Joanne, the campaign aims to unite the world of football amid the continuing outbreak of coronavirus.

From May 1, Boot The Virus will auction footballers' matchday boots on their website - with 100 per-cent of the proceeds going to the NHS.

So far, Bantams Richard O'Donnell and Shay McCartan are involved, having each donated a pair of their boots.

Purchasers will have over three weeks to secure boots from the action, with all memorabilia being taken off the website at 3.00pm on Monday May 25.

Professional footballers, retired professionals and club employees are urged to get in contact, make a donation and back the initiative by CLICKING HERE
